PERMA-HAND™ Suture, Black Braided, Size 3-0, Silk, in a LIGAPAK™ Ligating Reel, is a nonabsorbable, sterile surgical suture made from natural silk protein filaments. These filaments are processed to remove natural waxes and gums and are tightly braided to provide a smooth, uniform strand with consistent performance in tissue approximation and ligation.

The suture is coated with a specially formulated wax compound that enhances its physical properties. This coating improves handling and knot security while minimizing tissue drag and capillarity. The braided silk structure provides superior pliability and tensile strength, allowing for secure and reliable ligation.

Packaged in a LIGAPAK™ ligating reel, the suture is designed for ease of dispensing during surgical procedures, especially in ligation tasks that require efficiency and quick access.
